Tragedy in New Orleans: Prince William Pays Tribute to Victim Edward Pettifer :

Prince William and Princess Catherine have been seen mourning the tragic death of Edward Pettifer, the stepson of Alexandra Pettifer (formerly Tiggy Legge-Bourke), a former nanny to the Prince of Wales and Prince Harry.

One of the 14 people who lost their lives in a vicious New Year's Day attack on New Orleans is Edward Pettifer, 31. In his statement, Prince William described himself and Catherine as "shocked and saddened" while adding, "Our thoughts and prayers remain with the Pettifer family and all those innocent people who have been tragically impacted by this horrific attack.

The attack happened on January 1 in New Orleans's French Quarter, where a 42-year-old man ran his vehicle into a crowd of people, killing and injuring dozens. The suspect, identified as Shamsud-Din Jabbar, was shot dead by police. The FBI confirmed it was a premeditated act and linked it to extremist motivations.


His Majesty, King Charles III, also reflected his sorrow. The palace said King Charles has been directly communicating with the Pettifer family.

One of the victims of the New Year's Day terror attack in New Orleans has been named as Edward Pettifer, a 31-year-old man from Chelsea, London.

Described as a "wonderful son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend," Pettifer was among 14 victims of fatal vehicular ramming in the French Quarter. His family released a devastating statement: "We will all miss him terribly. Our thoughts are with the other families who lost their family members due to this terrible attack.


Pettifer’s stepmother, Alexandra Pettifer, was a longtime member of King Charles III’s staff, serving as a nanny to Prince William and Prince Harry during their formative years. She played a significant role in their lives, especially after the tragic death of Diana, Princess of Wales.  


New Orleans Attack: A Global Tragedy :

The New Orleans attack on New Year's Day has sent shockwaves worldwide, claiming the lives of 14 individuals, including British national Edward Pettifer.
